invited to become coalition members by contacting Linda at 1-847-902-7499
Coalition Congregations are asked to consider the following areas of support
for Faith in Action Evanston:
- Providing space for volunteer recruitment and training
- Providing congregational coordinators to help support the Faith
in Action Evanston outreach to the congregation
- Regularly including Faith in Action Evanston information
in bulletins and newsletters
- Encouraging congregational volunteers and care receivers to
share their stories of Faith in Action Evanston with
others
- Hosting a reception for congregation volunteers each year and having them invite a potential new volunteer to the celebration
- Hosting a commissioning service for caregiving volunteers and
taking up a offering to support Faith in Action Evanston
- Writing letters of support for fundraising efforts
- Supporting the Faith in Action Evanston program with
in-kind support including computer equipment, work or meeting
space, copy/printing expenses, office supplies, etc.
- Serving on the board of advisors or ad hoc committees
